A Sweet Tribute to Women Writers.

I have found a unique way to celebrate literature through my book Cookies. Every time I print a book cover onto a cookie, it is more than just an order—it is a tribute to the dedication and artistry of each author. The joy of seeing a book launch where my cookies are served as part of the celebration is indescribable. It is my small way of honoring the powerful impact that women authors have on the world.
As we close International Women's Month, let’s continue to support, uplift, and celebrate women writers—not just in March but every day of the year. Their words shape our past, present, and future, and their voices deserve to be heard loud and clear.

Each time an order comes in for a bookie featuring a woman author’s work, I feel a sense of pride. These inspirational women pour their hearts into their writing, sharing their experiences, wisdom, and creativity with the world. From debut authors to seasoned bestsellers, their words shape minds, challenge norms, and leave an everlasting impact on readers.
Empowering the Next Generation
The presence of women in literature serves as a guiding light for young girls who aspire to share their voices. Books written by women create spaces where female readers can see themselves reflected in stories of courage, ambition, and resilience. This visibility is vital in promoting gender equality and ensuring that future generations know their voices matter.

Supporting Women Writers: How You Can Help
If you’re passionate about women’s literature, here are a few ways to support women authors:
Buy their books – Purchasing their work directly supports their career.
Leave reviews – Positive feedback on platforms like Amazon and Goodreads helps increase visibility.
Attend book launches – Show up for their events to celebrate their achievements.
Share on social media – A simple post can introduce a book to a broader audience.
Encourage young readers – Introduce young girls to literature written by women to inspire future generations.
It’s exciting to think about all the incredible books still to come—more stories to fall in love with and, of course, more bookies to bake for their big launches! I can’t wait to see what’s next, and I’ll do my best to attend as many New York events as possible (because what’s a book launch without cookies?).

So, to all my incredible author clients: thank you. I’ve completely fallen for your brilliance, and it’s an absolute joy for me and the Lucy’s Confections team to create these little treats to celebrate your achievements. Here’s to more books, cookies, and reasons to party!
